If the fixture Chelsea v Arsenal has a vague ring to it, you’re not reliving Groundhog Day.

Although the first team played out a thrilling 2-2 draw at the Emirates on Wednesday night, it’s a chance for Chelsea Ladies to make the most of the long-ish recovery break over Christmas and put one over their arch rivals at Kingsmeadow this weekend.

Tickets for the match at 1.30pm on Sunday are still available. Visit http://www.chelseafc.com/teams/chelsea-ladies/ticket-information.html for news.

Then on January 10 it’s Chelsea v Arsenal at Stamford Bridge in the League Cup… and on January 24 it’s Arsenal v Chelsea again, in the second leg of the semi-final.

Emma Hayes and her girls are greatly looking forward to getting back to the action. Thanks partly to the weather, but mainly to a fixture drought, the ladies have played just once in the past month.
